Contessa Rosalia
Barbera is the most widespread native Piedmontese vine thanks to its great ability to adapt to different growing environments. Ours comes from Santa Rosalia on the Alba hill where the clay soils lead to more juicy and rounded Barbera wine. 6 months in large (1,500 litre) casks contributes to the creation of a wine rich in character with hints of morello cherry and violet, full-bodied and with a pleasing taste, supported by lovely acidity typical of this grape.
