A rarity indeed for nebbiolo to emit such amusing, wildly exotic and hypnotizing perfume but alas Cerretta by Mauro Sebaste succeeds in waves. From the storied Serralunga d'Alba cru and an explanation that the mere process of content is not sufficient to tell a Barolo story.
This by Sylla Sebaste gives content the capacity and the audacity to absorb us, in fruity and wooden tones, also to move us. The Sebaste style makes us care. The exotica never relents, drawing us in, nearer to the heart of the varietal matter but most of all to the hill that is Cerretta. The essence of 2017 and cru are captured in dreamy eyes, power and presence of nebbiolo mind.
