This has long been one of my favorite Sebaste bottlings and in this great vintage it truly excelled. Medium ruby with a hint of garnet around the rim, it expresses a captivating bouquet built on a spicy, soaring character as notes of fresh strawberry, cranberry, cinnamon, brown sugar and Asian spices waft from the glass. With time in the glasses it becomes more complex. The mouthfeel is perfectly balanced with slightly sweet, succulent fruit, beautiful bright and fresh acidity, and ripe tannin providing the punctuation mark.
A magnificent wine that expresses itself right out of the bottle and only improves with time in the glass. Followed over the course of three days, this just kept getting better.
