A bright ruby color, the 2021 Barolo Tresuri is spicy and leads with aromas of toasted oak spices, ripe cranberry, red cherries, cracked peppercorn, and licorice. Tasted a second time at the estate, it is a blend of three different vineyards and expositions, aged for 28 months in large French oak tonneau and barrels. The palate is ripe and open, with a medium-bodied frame, ripe tannins, and an even feel, with its more oak spice presence coming through on the finish. It will benefit from another six months for some of its oak to integrate, although it has a youthful charm for those looking for a more polished style. Drink 2025-2032.
